Hi, I am Kristin — the shop owner, the designer and the person who ties every knot. The Goddess Armory grew out of Sacred Knot Studio, where I spent years learning how much a single cord can hold.
I infuse ancient art into wearable armor. Macrame is old, older than most of the myths I name pieces after, and it was never only decorative — it held sails, it held nets, it held weight. That is still what I want a piece to do: hold you upright, hold your shape, hold your nerve.
Every piece is knotted in one studio, by one pair of hands, in natural fibre and brass. Nothing is glued. Nothing is cut from a pattern. The names come from the goddesses and heroines I keep returning to — Aelin, Freyja, Hera, Persephone, Circe, Astraea — because a piece should carry a story before it carries a person.

What is macrame armor, exactly?
Cord, knotted by hand into a structured garment. It has the weight and the silhouette of armor and the give of textile, so it moves with you instead of against you.
How do I care for a piece?
Spot clean only, never machine wash, and store it flat and out of direct sun. Cotton cord softens with wear, which is the point.
Where do you ship?
Worldwide, tracked, from the studio. Duties are the buyer's responsibility outside the US.
